vintageTEK Corporate Donation Brochure Completed
The vintageTEK museum has completed our corporate donation brochure which we will use to solicit donations from cold war era corporations that were instrumental in Tek's success during the 1945-1985 period of technological advancement. Our staff conceived this project with the objective of putting the reader in a nostalgic mood, and reminding them of our joint successes during this 40 year period, we then follow by asking for donations to support our programs.
Meanwhile our board recently approved focussing on an educational goal to share our knowledge to captivate our youth with science and technology education - and challenge them to become the technologists of the future. We still need for a volunteer Director for our educational programs, who will decide whether we will be a regional (SiliconForest) educational opportunity for kids, or an online (web-based) educational program that would have a more national reach. Our corporate benefactors are not only anxious to fund STEM-like programs (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), they will support them with engineer & science instructor staffing from their organizations.
