This group of young rocketry / robotics students visited the museum for an education on the use of an oscilloscope. They had a previously donated 465 scope and the museum provided a checkup and restoration and a specific class on operation and use of the 465. The museum provided four additional 465 oscilloscopes from our Lending Library and set them up to view common waveforms as set by the instructor.
Museum chairman Bob Haas taught the class. Here he is giving them an overview of the oscilloscope and the basic controls.
Bob then walked them through obtaining a stable display on the oscilloscope, using the two channels, A and B triggering, and proper calibration of the probe in a 90 minute session.
