The Howard Vollum award was instituted in 1987 after the death of founder Howard Vollum.  The award continues Howard's ideals and legacy by recognizing individuals at Tektronix whose contributions clearly exemplify engineering excellence in Howard's tradition and represents the highest level of engineering sustained over a period of time with considerable market success.  It is the lifetime achievement award for engineering at Tektronix and is not necessarily given out every year.  This photo shows the gorgeous crystal award.  It is no longer available from the vendor and so has been changed recently.

We are looking to add articles for all the award winners.
