Our volunteers participated in a STEM event March 11, 2026 at the Hiteon Elementary School in Beaverton. We increased the number of exhibits which consisted of Exploring the Micro and Macro World (color & microscope), Oscilloscope Table Tennis, Oscilloscope Artist, Successive Approximation, Waveshapes (microphone & oscilloscope), and Computer Graphics. Volunteers were Ron Fairley, Pat Green, Gary Johnson, and Dan Murphy. The booth was in a high traffic area and received a lot of attention all night.

Our volunteers participated in a STEM event March 12, 2025 at the Hiteon Elementary School in Beaverton. Our booth and participation is designed to give exposure to these students on technology and instrumentation and are enjoyable for them. Volunteer Dan Murphy demonstrated vector graphics on the 4052.

Volunteer Pat Green demonstrated the use of the 465 oscilloscope with the demonstration board Table Tennis.

Volunteer Gary Johnson demonstrated observing your voice and sound waveforms with the microphone and the oscilloscope.

The booth was well attended all evening. Our thanks to our volunteers to give of their time and energy for these STEM demonstrations.
