The vintageTEK museum often sets up a booth for Tektronix at their worldwide sales meeting to highlight the impressive and fascinating history of the company.  We received a request for a similar showing at the Tek Japan Innovation Forum.  While we do travel for remote exhibits, Japan is a bit far so we restored a number of vintage products to send them for the event. These products include:

• 511AD Oscilloscope from the early 1950s
• 317 Oscilloscope from the the mid 1960s
• 7104 1 GHz Oscilloscope mainframe from the early 1980s with a 7A29 1 GHz Amplifier, 7A18A Dual Trace Amplifier, 7B10 Time Base, and a 7B85 Delaying Time Base plug-in
• TM515 mainframe also from the mid 1980s with a SC502 Oscilloscope, DM502 Multi-Meter, PS503A Power Supply, and FG503 Function Generator plug-in

June 25, 2018 Update

Tek Japan and partner companies exhibited measurement products and solutions including this display showing the evolution of products over 71 years from 1947 to 2018.  The instrument on the right is the new 5 Series MSO Mixed Signal Oscilloscope. Tektronix Application Engineers and external speakers conducted 29 seminars focused on Power, Automotive, Datacenter, High speed serial, and RF wireless topics at the forum.

The instruments are now off to Korea for their Innovation Forum.
