Website Adds Volunteers Wanted Menu
We have added a Volunteers Wanted menu button to our home page with information on how to volunteer and our needs. We have a small group of local volunteers who repair and refurbish instruments and bench test equipment, organize our inventory, maintain out IT resources, organize our library resources, scan our vintage negatives and photos, provide bookeeping services and conduct tours.
Volunteers do not necessarily have to be ex-Tek, and unless the job description requires a local presence, we have opportunities for remote volunteers. For example, one remote volunteer compiled an Excel spreadsheet listing every Tektronix instrument that made the catalogs from 1945-1985.

Let me know if I can help you with parts, manuals or gear. I am in BC, so not so easy for dropping in for saturday coffee, but as dennis tillman can attest, I do have a LOT of tek stuff, and he is going to be bringing you a bunch of Tek CRTs from my place very shortly.
I do have of lot of broken and good tek scopes, logic analyzers and related items we are going to dump in the next few months, if somebody can make it up this way to take them down to you. also going to get rid of our printed library soon, just no more space for it, everything is converted to PDFs internally.
all the best,
walter
