Emory Harry started at Tektronix in Stanford CT as a Field Engineer in 1967. He moved to later become the District Sales Manager in Los Angeles, CA. In 1972 he moved again to become the sales manager at Quantronix Corporation in Smithtown NY.

In 1974 he returned to Tektronix as a Product Marketing Manager for TM500. By November 1983 he was is in Lab Instruments Product Marketing responsible for Curve Tracers. In January 1985 he was now responsible for Non-Storage products.

By October 1985 he had moved to the Microprobing Accessories Division in C1 working in engineering. He and two colleagues received two probe patents during this time. In August 1988 he was in engineering in the Measurement Accessory Products group. In 1991 he was now working on high frequency probes in building 19. He later moved to building 39 and appears to have left Tektronix after about 28 years.
