Instrument Library and the Sound Sense Camp
Kennedy Verrett utilized our Instrument Library for an oscilloscope to be used in a local STEM event. Kennedy was the instructor for a 5 day Sound Sense camp for 8 to 12 year old students held at Forest Hills Elementary School.
The description of the event is:
Sound Sense is a mash-up of music and science - a multi-sensory exploration of the power of sound! Experience how sound vibrations are created through musical experiments, games, and activities that build understanding and the ability to apply the concepts to music and the world.
We loaned Kennedy a 465B with DM44 oscilloscope for the event. This photo shows students using a Behringer 2600 synthesizer with a Mackie Mix12FX mixer creating sounds and visualizations on the oscilloscope.
This particular setup used the oscilloscope in XY mode displaying phase relationship.
