The vintageTEK museum was invited to participate in the Tektronix employee's 80th anniversary celebration. It was held on August 26th in front of building 38. A meeting preceded the celebration so the crowd arrived right at 11:30am and the event lasted until 1:30pm. There were exhibits, games, and food. There were a number of familiar faces as well as new employees who introduced to the museum.

The museum had a table which exhibited our 511 with the covers removed, a 500 series plug-in, a 200 series mini-scope, a Sony/Tek 323, various CRTs and manuals, a 1956 Employee Handbook, two areal maps of the campus, and the Tektronix timeline poster.

The crowd stayed for the duration and our table was well attended.

It was a nice celebration and a great opportunity to meet new employees.
