A Tektronix Field Engineer in Los Angeles Region from 1968 to 1972, Ed was promoted to Army Account Manager in Philadelphia. After earning a Marketing Degree (cum laude) at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, he moved to Beaverton in 1977 as a B.U. Marketing Manager. Leaving Tektronix in 1983, he went on to the software industry for the remainder of his career, including Mentor Graphics, Summit Design, and Webridge. In 2008, he and Stan Griffiths co-founded vintageTEK.org
