OMSI Science Festival 2024
The vintageTEK museum is participating in the OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry) Science Festival. The Science Festival is a fun, interactive, and engaging week-long celebration of science! It highlights STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) and takes science learning out into the community. It includes include five days of events in the Portland Metro area.
The museum will be hosting 6 tours during the week. If you use a computer or the internet, watch TV or make use of wireless technology, join us for a tour of the museum on the Tektronix campus in Beaverton. Learn the history and see the technology of an Oregon company that has been at the forefront of the electronics revolution since its founding in 1946.
There will be three one-hour tours on Tuesday, September 10, 2024
Time: 4:00-5:00pm; 5:30-6:30pm; 7:00-8:00pm.
and three one-hour tours on Thursday, September 12, 2024
Time: 3:00-4:00pm; 4:30-5:30pm; 6:00-7:00pm.
The museum has limited space so we are limiting the tours to 14 visitors each. We'll break visitors into two groups of 7 and conduct two simultaneous tours. You must register for the tour. To register, go to Google Forms.
