Alan Hampel, an electronics engineer and former test equipment service technician in Australia, purchased a 130 LC meter that arrived in poor condition. He decided to do a detailed restoration and wrote an extensive article for Silicon Chip magazine that was published in three parts in June, July and August 2020. Silicon Chip is an Australian popular electronics magazine, and is primarily directed to professionals, trades people and enthusiasts, featuring articles of deep technical detail in the electronics, electrical, computer and related fields.
His article is very complete and includes history of the 130 LC meter, testing and restoration process, descriptions of the circuits and operations, other useful and related information, photos, and a complete restoration the manual which includes correction of some errors. In addition Alan added his own schematic cartoon creation in the style of vintage Tektronix manuals.
